The future is treacherous and it is not always possible to foresee what it would bring, even with the keen vision of the Sightless Eye.
And as I sit here, I ponder what strange-eyed constellation would reign the sky, were I to be cast into the unknown and perilous future.
And where then will be those whom I once called friends? And where then shall be the one I loved?
What strange creatures would be beside me, and what strange tongue would my ears hear?
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

timemachine... i thought i'd make one. future was my favourite passtime.. just like the past... my
greatest nightmare. present seemed fine till it was not wearin' yesterday's shoes... present lost its charms when i travelled from yesterday to reach the future.. mehcanical i thought it'd be.. with all the pistons n' levers workin' in tandem.. with a flash of light on my face.. takin' me through the arc of time n' space.. i've been the satellites.. got hit by asteroids.. rotated n' got twisted. i travelled through time but when i looked at the space... i was where i was before. n' a concluded journey endin' where it all started.. i stand right there.. where i stood.

Guh!
Do my eyes deceive me or am I seeing The Stranger.
What wanton delight and joy rushes through me to see you again!
And to what do I owe this honour?
Yes, I fear about the future, but that does not mean I am happy with my past.
The past was a page so heavenly sweet -- so deadly sad -- that to read one line of it would dissolve my courage and break down my energy, so I dare not venture where I my courage would fail me.
Thank you Stranger. Even if the stars are strange, at least I have a familiar Stranger to turn to.
About the blog its haunting. And needless to say it is nicely said. But, seriously, when will you stop taking out fun from things.
One more thing, you get so many comments and if you see my blog there will hardly be any comment on most of them. Its beyond my comprehension.
@nikhil
This is the first positive response I got from you in all of my blog history.
Do I really take out the fun out of things? I must try not to, but then I don't do fun either.
Well, if you visit other people's blog and leave a comment, they may leave one back on yours. ^_^
Uncertainty can be soothing, and the future is best left to be enjoyed when it comes. To me, the questions that bug more arise from the past and the present
@phoenix
Thanks for dropping by. Maybe uncertainty is soothing to the immortals like the phoenix but for us poor mortals it is not so. We are ever so cautious, and forewarned is forearmed.

Eh? what do you not understand?
