Gentle reader, I had not the courage to write down the simple goings of my simple mind. So, I will write something I found quite romantic and tantalising. On the notebook I have, these were written
'And long upon these terms I held my city,
Till thus he 'gan besiege me: "Gentle maid,
Have of my suffering youth some feeling pity,
And be not of my holy vows afraid.
That's to ye sworn to none was ever said;
For feasts of love I have been called unto,
Till now did ne'er invite nor never woo.

It were printed on the notebook would have suited more. For this simple mind of mine cannot induce such words as these.
